Anna Silk was the first daughter of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a playwright, actor director, producer, and professor at St. Thomas University). Her father hails from Britain and her mother is an "Turkish Cypriot-English expat." Anna's early memories include attending play rehearsals as well as watching her mother's her job. In her early years, Anna appeared in several commercials. Anna was transferred to Toronto in the fall of 1999 to pursue her acting talents. After that, she settled at Los Angeles (California) over the following decade. Anna was introduced to Seth Cooperman in 2007 at an actors' training held in Los Angeles, and they were engaged in 2009. The couple was married with a civil ceremony on December and renew their vows during a Jewish ceremony in Fredericton in April of 2011 in the wake of Anna's conversion into Judaism. Bo and Lauren's romance (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) has been featured on CNN's most-loved TV couple list. They also were named in the 2013 edition of E! as the top TV couple of 2013.
