Jillian Noel Hennely was born on 25 November 1968. She is a renowned Canadian singer and actress who has made a significant contribution to American TV. She's best known for her incredible performances on American TV shows like Law & Order (where she impressed viewers over three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh, the main character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy demonstrated her skills in independent films including Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy launched her career as an actress in Dead Ringers with her sister. Her Broadway debut was with Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Later, in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she played Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the autumn of that year, she joined the crew of the NBC hit crime show Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid. This character captivated viewers for three seasons before the show ended in 1996. As a result of these roles she was awarded an Emmy Award in 2006 and a Golden Globe Award in 2006 as well as an Emmy Award in 2007. Parker received an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her role as Proof on Broadway.
